Artisan Medallion True Swing Doors

Medallion true swing doors are hand-crafted to beautifully complement our carriage doors and the surrounding architecture. Built using rigorous techniques and old world craftsmanship, true swing doors are available in slabs, or as a pre-hung unit to swing-out or swing-in. Use our design galleries of single swing and double swing models as inspiration, or submit a custom design.

A. True divided lites feature individual panes of glass separated by window muntins to create the ultimate architectural expression.

B. Deep pocket mortise and tenon joinery provide exceptional durability.

C. 2-1/4″ thick clear Spanish cedar hardwood frame with profiled edge milling boasts beauty and strength.

D. 3/4″ thick clear Spanish cedar hardwood flat panel has rich grain and superior weathering charactersitics. (other panel styles available).

E. Bottom weather seal keeps back air and moisture.

F. Moisture-control bottom rail is designed to shed water away to help preserve wood frame and panel.

G. Heavy Duty 4-1/2″ ball bearing brass hinges.

H. 1-1/8″ thick clear Spanish cedar hardwood jambs are rabbetted for Q-Lon weather seal.

I. Aluminum sill is available for in-swing or out-swing operation.

J. Operational 1-1/8″ thick casing is milled with bead (available in different widths).

“We greatly appreciated everyone’s effort on this job. That included from the start, with Kevin getting us set up with Gaige. Special thanks to Gaige beginning with his same-day response when the prior doors initially failed, walking us through the process and bearing with us as we tried figuring out the best color choice for the doors (important since there were three other nearby doors that we weren’t replacing). The initial crew that came out did a great job of getting the doors installed, and communicating with us about various important things – from operations to choosing where to route the new controls. The hiccup with the torn trim surprised everybody, but it was minor and easily fixed on the follow-up visit. This wasn’t a project I wanted to do. (Sorry…replacing garage doors isn’t the most exciting thing for a homeowner!)
